Accessibility

Robert Owen Nursery School and Children's Centre strives to be a fully inclusive and accessible provider. Our car park is only available for families with blue badges and marked accessible bays are at the front of the school. The ground floor is on one level and there is a lift to the first floor. All standard doors are wide enough to accommodate wheelchair users.

We are a dyslexia-friendly school. Some of our staff are trained in British Sign Language and Makaton is used widely across the school.

Any child with a disability has a full risk assessment and evaluation of their learning environment prior to them starting in the Nursery. Any concerns by families about accessibility please make us aware and these will be considered.
